It compresses a JPG, PNG or WebP to a target size in KB, in your browser, and shows the real output size.
What is 1 KB?
1 KB is 1,024 bytes.
Which formats are supported?
Input: JPG, PNG and WebP. Output: JPEG, WebP or PNG.
How much is Pro?
$12 one time. No subscription.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Compression runs in your browser.
Why is my result slightly under the target?
Photo KB returns the largest result that is at or under your target. An exact size is not promised.
It says it could not reach the target.
The image is too detailed for that size. Try JPEG or WebP output, or a larger target. The best result is shown.
PNG output is bigger than my target.
PNG cannot lower quality. Choose JPEG or WebP, or accept a smaller image size.
Why is it still too large?
Very detailed images need a larger target or JPEG/WebP output. The tool shows the best result it reached.
Batch compression?
Pro compresses up to 50 images and downloads one ZIP.
I paid but Pro does not work.

What does Pro include?
Batch up to 50 images with ZIP download, portal presets and pixel-size boxes.
How do I activate Pro?
Open the extension, expand the license section, paste the key from your Lemon Squeezy email and press Activate.
I lost my license key.
Open your Lemon Squeezy order receipt email, or use the Lemon Squeezy customer portal link in it.
Can I use one key on several computers?
Yes, on a few of your own devices. Contact support if you hit the activation limit.
Does Pro work offline?
Yes. The license is re-checked every 24 hours and stays valid for 7 days without a connection.
How do I get a refund?
Within 14 days of purchase, use the contact below with your order email.
